What defines beauty?
I believe that beauty is something that is often distorted and misunderstood due to a wide range of conflicting pressures! As a teenage girl, I find, beauty is something we are endlessly striving for but that it has nothing to do with appearance and can only be found on the inside.
A beautiful person is someone who can be themselves, some who smiles and someone who is kind hearted. Someone who has a glow that radiates off them.
What does success mean to you?
Success is about effort; the result is irrelevant. It is a state of mind that allows you to step out of your comfort zone and do things that you aren’t used to so that you can achieve what you want to achieve.
I believe success is measured through the positive impact you can have on others. Success is taking little steps in a positive direction not setting unreasonable goals. Success is maintaining a balance in your life, it may not mean focusing on and achieving one single goal but attending to all things you deem important in your life.
If you could give your younger self or a new SMC girl a piece of advice what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to step completely out of your comfort zone to make the most of the opportunities we are given at St Margaret’s. But also take subjects that interest you because it will make learning so much more enjoyable.
One word you’d like to be remembered by?
Empowering or uplifting

How lucky we are to be given so many incredible opportunities and how we are one big family!
