We are proud of our St Margaret's College ākonga, who consistently achieve results amongst the highest nationally and internationally.

Academic Excellence

Over the past six years, under the Executive Principalship of Diana Patchett, SMC students have achieved an average pass rate of 98% for both Level 2 and Level 3 NCEA, with over 70% of students having achieved Excellence / Merit endorsement. Our International Baccalaureate students have achieved an average pass rate of 96% over the same period, and place amongst the very top scholars globally.

International Baccalaureate 2023

SMC students also excelled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, with an average score of 32, 10% above the international average, and three of our students achieving NZ IB Scholar status, placing them amongst the top scholars globally.
