The philosophy behind our Performing Arts and Visual Arts faculties and our co-curricular programme is one of a collaborative pathway where every student has the opportunity to express and create. We believe in an inclusive model open to all levels of ability and experience within which there are options for extension for those who are capable.
We endeavour to respect and celebrate diversity as well as cultural identity. Our holistic approach focuses on the following qualities: courage, care, challenge, connection, consideration, communication, collaboration, cohesion, community, creativity. We see this as an important learning and growing process for all those involved, and a vehicle for teaching lifelong skills through the Arts.
St Margaret’s College offers a full programme of co-curricular arts groups, events, leadership opportunities and processes where student achievement, talent, contribution and service are celebrated. We believe in exposing our students to the arts and culture in all its diversity, and endeavour to provide a range of activities and opportunities for the whole school and community to enjoy.
