Congratulations to our rowers for their powerful performances and hard work at the South Island championships this weekend.
With 22 crews in the A finals, St Margaret’s College achieved top girls’ school, top Canterbury School, and third overall for the South Island.
Supported by an experienced and caring coaching team, our rowers return from Lake Ruataniwha with the following:
- Gold for the U17 Four, U18 Two, U15 Eight and U18 Novice Four;
- Silver for the U18 Eight, U18 Novice Eight, U15 Four, and U17 Eight.
They will next compete at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Rowing Regatta, 18-23 March, again at Lake Ruataniwha.
