Meet the Board

Chairman: Albert Brantley
Ingrid Taylor, LL.B.
Albert has a daughter, Sarah, in Year 11. Albert is trained as an engineer and geologist and has an impressive executive CV founded around the construction and operation of large scale mining and utility assets throughout the world. We are fortunate indeed to have Albert’s technical, financial and governance wisdom. Albert is a member of the finance and property committees.   Ingrid is a Partner at Taylor Shaw, Solicitors and brings to the Board a legal and strategic skill base gained through her involvement in numerous trusts and external board appointments. Ingrid attended St. Margaret’s from Year 3 to Year 13 and was Deputy Head Girl. She is married to Garry and they have two children including a daughter in Year 13. Ingrid is the Board’s Old Girls Association representative

Jules Fulton, BE (Civil), MIPENZ, GAICD
Dr Greg Anderson
Jules is married to Sue and they have three children, with Rachel completing Year 13 in 2015 and Sarah in Year 11 at St Margaret’s. Jules is the Group Executive Manager for Corporate Services at Fulton Hogan, where he has worked since 1993 in a number of construction and management roles through New Zealand, Australia and Fiji. He brings to the Board a wealth of knowledge and experience in the building and construction industry. Jules is one of Board representatives on the Project Control Group for the rebuild of the College   Greg and his wife Nicola have two children, including Ruby who has attended St Margaret’s since Year 7. Greg is the principal at Northington Partners, a corporate finance and investment banking firm with offices in Auckland and Christchurch. He also has interests in a number of other companies, including an early stage SaaS business focused on treasury management software. Greg is a member of the finance sub-committee.

Richard Carey
Fiona Bush, BPhEd, Dip Tcg.
Richard is married to Toni, and they have four children, with their youngest Paige in Year 9 at St Margaret’s. Richard is a Managing Partner at Ernst & Young. He is qualified both as a Chartered Accountant and a Solicitor. He brings deep commercial knowledge to the Board. Richard is the Chair of Finance.   Fiona and her husband David live north of Cheviot where they are involved in a number of farming enterprises. They have three daughters who are all boarding at St Margaret’s College at present; Rebecca in Year 13, Harriet in Year 11 and Charlotte in Year 10. Fiona brings experience to the board in the area of curriculum and student achievement, after a number of years teaching middle and secondary Physical Education and Health. She also has considerable experience on the other side of the fence in school governance. She is a member of the compliance committee and also the board representative on the PFA and Synod.

Vicki Green
Peter Flannery
Vicki is a mother of three Boarding daughters and General Manager of her own large retirement business. Vicki is one of life’s busy people who joins our team offering strong business aptitude and well developed statutory compliance skills.   Peter has had two daughters attend St Margaret’s College with his daughter Maddi currently in Year 13 at St Margaret’s. He runs a successful investment analysis and strategic financial planning business. Peter’s expertise complements our Finance Committee where he aims to help us strike the delicate balance between running a ‘tight fiscal ship’ and seizing opportunities.
