St Margaret’s College sent eight sporting codes and 11 teams to Winter Tournament Week venues across New Zealand this year, from Whangarei to Buller.
In hockey, our 2nd XI won the Chris Arthur Cup in Stratford, while our 1st XI finished seventh at the Federation Cup in Whangarei.
In eventing, SMC Red claimed first place in Arena Eventing and second in Show Jumping, finishing second overall as a team. SMC White took first in Show Hunter.
In netball, the Senior A team finished second at the SISS tournament in Nelson.
In cycling, Emma took out the U17 Girls overall title at the Southern Tour.
Our badminton, senior and junior basketball, football and rugby teams also put in strong, committed performances at their tournaments in Wellington, Christchurch and Buller.
