Year 10 students Holly Sawyer, Zara Clark, Millie Edwards and Trelise McEwan have booked their places at the International Future Problem Solving (FPS) competition, fending off tough competition at the national level.
The girls will compete in the “Middle’ division next June in Amherst, Massachusetts, with Holly, Zara and Millie competing as a team, and Trelise competing as an individual.
FPS teaches students in and out of the classroom a problem solving process to help them positively make a difference in their global and local communities now and for the future. The programme aligns closely with St Margaret’s College’s vision to create empathetic, confident and connected global citizens, who value personal excellence and strive to make a positive difference.
