SMC’s Mother-Daughter Breakfasts are a great way to celebrate the special relationship between mothers and daughters. It’s a morning for girls and mums to socialise, eat delicious food and enjoy all things girly – what better way to kick off a Friday!!

For this, the second Mother-Daughter Breakfast, we are delighted to welcome guest speaker Katrina Darry. Katrina is a Consultant Sports Dietitian who has been managing her own private practise in Christchurch for 16 years. She has a wide range of experience dealing with athletes from both team and individual sports and her credentials include having been Consultant Dietitian to NZ Women’s Hockey, Silver Ferns Netball, Super Rugby teams, High Performance Sport NZ working with athletes through to Olympic Games and World Cups.
Currently Katrina is Consultant Dietitian to the All Blacks, who she has worked with through two successful Rugby World Cups.
Katrina’ work has also involved working with a wide variety of private clients in areas of healthy eating for life, weight loss, child and teenage nutrition and medical conditions as well as helping many amateur athletes and school sports teams.
Katrina is also the mother of four children aged 16-22 who are also sporty, so she has a good understanding of the realities of busy lives!
The Mother-Daughter Breakfasts are open to girls from all year groups with their mothers and/or grandmothers. Last year’s events were both sell-outs so make sure you get your tickets in plenty of time. Please note ticket sales will close at midnight on Sunday 26 August unless sold out prior.
