Taylor Shaw Barristers and Solicitors are working alongside the Christchurch City Mission to provide children with the support they need to eliminate any barriers to learning, such as new school shoes.
According to Unicef (2017 child poverty monitor) we have approximately 290,000 New Zealand children who are living in income poverty and approximately 135,000 children who are living in material hardship. This leaves many children unable to experience the basics that many of us take for granted, such as shoes to wear to school.
A great way to help is donate a new pair of school shoes to the City Mission to help children in Christchurch. Just drop a brand new pair of shoes to our school reception before November 29 and Taylor Shaw will arrange collection and delivery to the City Mission. You could get together with some friends and all donate for one pair.
To help those in need put their best foot forward for the next school year, donate today and let’s work together to make a difference.
