2040 – World Nature Day Movie Night

Date: 28th July 2020

To celebrate World Nature Day on 28 July, we are holding a special movie night featuring the internationally acclaimed 2040.

“Entertaining and uplifting” – Hollywood Reporter

“A compelling vision… let yourself be inspired” – Lead Negotiator, Paris Climate Agreement

2040 is an innovative feature documentary that looks to the future but is vitally important now. Award-winning director Damon Gameau embarks on a journey to explore what the future would look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them into the mainstream. Filmed as a visual letter to his four-year-old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary footage with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a vision board for his daughter and the planet.

A visual feast, this stunning movie also provides plenty of food for thought for the whole family with its positive approach to life in the future.
