Welcome to the St Margaret’s College Old Girls’ Association.
We are a globally based network of former pupils of St Margaret’s College, Christchurch, New Zealand. We live and work in many diverse and stimulating environments, professions and areas of employment in Christchurch, Canterbury, throughout New Zealand and in many countries around the world.
Over recent years we have celebrated our Centenary in 2010 and the opening of our magnificent new school facilities after the devastating Christchurch earthquakes in 2010 and 2011.
We are deeply appreciative of all the Old Girls’ around the world who so very generously contributed to funding the naming rights for the Old Girls’ Atrium.

We are also very grateful to the Luney Family for their gift and we are delighted to recognize this by way of naming of this spectacular Auditorium – the Charles Luney Auditorium, which so beautifully completes this stunning complex.
We have come a long way since the Old Girls first met in 1913 with Sister Winifred, with the aim of “binding the past and present in unity and strength”. To date almost ten thousand girls have become members worldwide.
Today the focus of the Old Girls’ Association is about staying connected. We work on encouraging friendships made during school days, helping Old Girls to stay in contact and linked in and supporting the school in its growth and development.
The Old Girls’ Association is part of the Community Relations Office, located at 28 Winchester St, Merivale, Christchurch 8014.
