St Margaret’s facilities are available to outside organisations or groups for casual or weekly, term break, evening and weekend usage.
We have three boarding houses here at the College. Kilburn House, Cranmer House and Julius House. All houses consist of bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry facilities, common rooms and small tearooms. In addition there is a dining room, conservatory and courtyard situated in Kilburn House. We can accommodate up to 150 guests during term breaks.
Our qualified chefs & catering staff provide high quality food & service. Our options include breakfast, packed lunches (great for sporting groups etc who are away during the daytime), buffet lunches, dinners, nibbles, morning & afternoon teas.
The St Margaret’s College Chapel offers a beautiful space for weddings, conferences, launches and meetings. The chapel is equipped with stage lighting, a sound system & data show and screens. The Chapel comfortably seats around 700 people.
We have a Swimming Pool (during the summer months) and a ½ size Hockey Turf available which is also the most conveniently located hockey turf in central Christchurch.
St Margaret’s College has a number of classrooms available for hire. All classroom enjoy WIFI internet, if you are looking to accommodate more than 20 people, our staff room can accommodate up to 100 people. The staff room has a kitchen facility, however if a more intimate environment is required, our freshly redecorated boardroom is available for groups of up to 12 people, both the board room and the staffroom have audio and data show facilities.
